Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose patients with diseases and adverse health conditions, following established guidelines and protocols.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic studies, to identify potential health issues.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies.
- State of Michigan Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant license required.
- AHA/ARC BLS certification required.
- 1-3 years' experience as an Advanced Practice nurse in a specialty clinical setting, preferred.
