The Clinical Applications Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting all facets of applications that facilitate clinic operations.
The individual will assist senior analysts and engineers with testing, process development, and comprehensive system configuration tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
In addition to the duties associated with the Application Analyst I,
• Develops, tests, manages, and secures application access.
• Designs and implements primary technical support processes, including troubleshooting and system change management.
• Establishes, manages, and supports secondary technical support processes.
• Creates and oversees training programs.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Designs system configurations.
• Conducts requirements gathering and analysis.
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of IT experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Proficient in swiftly resolving IT system issues that disrupt clinical operations.
• Ability to identify and prioritize issues effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities and demands.
• Initiative and sound judgment in executing responsibilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Capability to train others in system usage.
• Ability to foster relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Experience working in a complex, fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated interest in enhancing technical capabilities.
• Strong customer service skills.
Preferred:
• BA/BS in a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Visio and Excel.
• Basic working knowledge of Transact SQL.
