Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead our Multispecialty outpatient practice team. This role encompasses oversight of clinic operations across multiple counties, necessitating travel flexibility.


The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the daily coordination of clinical activities within the department, ensuring efficient practice operations, adequate staffing, and adherence to clinical standards while maintaining a safe care environment.

This position collaborates closely with physicians and administrative personnel to ensure seamless continuity of care and accessibility within the clinical setting.

Key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, providing education to staff, patients, and families, and serving as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams.

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor plays a vital role in fostering a cohesive and productive work environment, contributing to the organization's mission of delivering high-quality patient care.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient flow through the clinic and oversee point-of-care testing.
  • Supervise Triage Nurses and streamline workflows.
  • Exemplify professionalism and lead by example.
  • Review processes to optimize clinic workflow and charge capture.
  • Develop and inspire staff to work effectively within their licensure.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with the Practice Coordinator.
  • Participate in management meetings and collaborate with fellow managers to address and resolve issues.
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient and staff-related matters.
  • Oversee supply and medication ordering while being cost-conscious.
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and manage weekly tracer submissions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.
  • NYS Registered Nurse Licensure is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience is required, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Current BLS certification.

We support a culture that encourages the identification and analysis of errors, conducting safety inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
