We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Medical Telemetry Patient Flow LPN. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating patient throughput across the acute care setting, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nursing admission assessments on patients as they are admitted through the Emergency Department, surgical or procedural setting, or through the direct admit process.
- Screen, communicate, and respond to patients' needs appropriately and within scope of practice.
- Enter patient data per established procedures in the electronic medical record.
- Facilitate patient discharge activities following established procedures.
- Support inter-unit patient transfers across the acute care setting to facilitate throughput and bed availability.
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program (or equivalent recognized military training) and successful passage of the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
- Possession of a current Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current healthcare provider BLS certification.
