The position?


We are in search of a full-time Facilities Maintenance Specialist for one of our communities.

What are my responsibilities as a Wendover Facilities Maintenance Specialist?

Responsibilities

You will be tasked with the diligent maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, common areas, parking facilities, and other community buildings.


Your duties will include the daily removal of trash from office areas and the community perimeter, as well as from trash chutes to the compactor.

You will prepare vacant units for new residents, which includes trash removal and cleaning.

Assist the Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks promptly.

Clean available apartments and/or models.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues, including HVAC systems.

Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Property Manager.

Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the community.

Assist office personnel with various tasks as needed.

Support with emergency situations such as hazardous weather, fires, floods, etc.

Ensure overall organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shop.

Report directly to the Property Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience is preferred.

Skills in light carpentry, drywall repair, and painting are beneficial.

Basic computer skills are a plus but not mandatory.

Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Exceptional customer service skills and a collaborative work environment are essential.

Must be fully vaccinated and able to provide documentation upon hire or submit a request for a medical or religious accommodation.

What are the Working Conditions/Environment/Physical Demands of this position?

The Facilities Maintenance Specialist position is full-time; may require after-hours and weekend work. A rotating on-call schedule may be necessary.

Working conditions will include both outdoor and indoor environments.

Physical demands will require mobility to effectively complete job requirements.
