We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our OB/GYN department at Nuvance Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients in the OB/GYN department
- Assist with patient check-in, vital signs, and medical record preparation
- Administer injections, dispense medications, and perform other tasks as directed by the physician/provider
- Prepare patient and exam rooms, and assist with laboratory and imaging requisitions
- Document all activities, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting
- Licensed Practical Nurse licensure
- Basic medical knowledge and terminology
- Computer skills/data entry
- Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals
- Minimum one year of experience as an LPN
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Phlebotomy and EKG experience
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills.
