Job Title: Ophthalmology PRN Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmology PRN Physician to join our team at Denver Health. As a PRN physician, you will provide medical care to patients on an as-needed basis, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Ophthalmology Division at Denver Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Ophthalmologist to join our team as an Intermittent/PRN Ophthalmologist to cover patient care and ophthalmology resident supervision on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will be engaged in supervising and teaching ophthalmology residents in a resident-run clinic, with the ability to teach and supervise residents in the operating room, particularly with cataract surgery, being a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to patients on an as-needed basis, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited residency program in ophthalmology.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in ophthalmology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
