Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Equipment Delivery Specialist to join our team at Omaha Public Schools. As an Equipment Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering maintenance aerial lifts and other equipment to various locations, ensuring that our facilities are equipped with the necessary tools to perform their duties efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Delivery: Deliver maintenance aerial lifts and other equipment to designated locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Ground Safety Security: Provide ground safety security while aerial lifts are in operation, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
  • Transportation and Logistics: Transport parts and supplies, including large tools and support equipment, to work sites as requested by maintenance trades.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aerial lift equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Training and Development: Assist in providing training to selected personnel on the safe operation of aerial lifts.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of equipment delivery, maintenance, and repairs, as well as track preventive maintenance and repairs for specific aerial lifts.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in equipment delivery, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and CDL required.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb, kneel, stoop, walk, and engage in heavy physical activities, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to various locations.
