Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute repairs and maintenance as outlined in the service order with precision and in alignment with dealership standards
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems utilizing diagnostic tools and specialized equipment
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems, including but not limited to engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Engage with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about necessary additional services and provide time estimates for repairs
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
  • Kia Certification is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is required
  • A Level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • Strong dexterity with excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Proficient mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and basic computer skills
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
