Expion Health is seeking a highly skilled Patient Advocate to join our team. As a Patient Advocate, you will play a critical role in supporting members and clients in navigating the complex healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to members and clients, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with pharmacies, third-party administrators, claims adjustors, medical professionals, and manufacturer copay assistance programs to determine eligible services.
- Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls, meeting expected call metrics and maintaining quality enrollment services and relationships.
- Process incoming and outgoing emails, maintain files, and provide general support to members.
- Escalate unresolved member enrollment or billing issues to leadership and resolve problems independently.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical professional setting.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
- Strong ethical standards to uphold and foster a culture of confidentiality and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
