Job Relationships:

  • Reports to: Radiology Department Manager / MRI Supervisor

Position Definition:

  • Responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures and patient safety protocols, ensuring adherence to MRI safety protocols. Acts as the primary interface with customers to meet their MRI imaging needs. Participates in Performance Improvement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Professional:
    • High school graduate and completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program. One year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Advanced ARRT Registry in MR or MR Registry Eligible. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and other Windows applications. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
