Job Title: Occupational Therapist - NICU

At The George Washington University Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As an Occupational Therapist in the NICU, you will play a vital role in helping our smallest patients achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to neonates and their families in the NICU
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current licensure in the District of Columbia
  • Experience working in a NICU or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
