Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder's Kapolei, Hawaii location. As a member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy-duty vehicles.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $1343.20 per week or $33.58 per hour, with the potential for additional compensation through certifications and quarterly bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes paid training, uniforms, tool allowance, and safety equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer tools
  • Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and assign tasks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
  • All other certifications required by location
Bonus Incentives
