As a Swim Safety Specialist at the Hispanic/Latino Professionals Association, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our members and guests in and around our aquatic facilities. This includes maintaining a safe and clean environment, responding to emergencies, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor and maintain the chemical conditions in the pool to ensure a safe and healthy environment for swimmers
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and safe operation of the aquatic facilities
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest safety protocols and procedures

**Requirements:**

  • Ability to pass a swim test
  • Ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children, parents/guardians, members, and other staff members
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Associates of the Hispanic/Latino Professionals Association are required to be fully vaccinated for the COVID virus or have a valid medical or religious accommodation
