We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team at Walmart. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and business performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, SOP, and QA policies.
- Manage inventory flow, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies.
- Develop and implement training programs for pharmacy staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as customer service and sales, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the pharmacy remains compliant and competitive.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- U.S. pharmacy related experience.
