Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic patient care activities, including vital sign measurements, bathing, and ambulation, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of North Carolina.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of CNA course and 12 hours of in-service training supervised by a Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to lift at least 45 pounds and use proper body mechanics to ensure patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent exposure to blood and body fluids, infectious diseases, and potential threats to personal safety. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations is essential.
