About the Job

Novant Health is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at NHRMC Orthopedic Hospital. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager and under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse or delegated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient care within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities
  1. Competently perform a variety of patient care activities to meet the daily personal needs and comfort of the patient.
  2. Appropriately communicate information in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  3. Organize, prioritize, and perform work effectively and efficiently.
  4. Maintain and adjust schedule to enhance team performance.
  5. Demonstrate a daily commitment to the values of the department.
  6. Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with all members of the team.
  7. Maintain and promote customer satisfaction.
  8. Demonstrate the NHRMC's Standards of Performance & Service and Operational Excellence on the unit.
  9. Responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning.
  10. Perform moderate or waived point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I) certification is required. A General Education Degree is also required. Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.
