POSITION OVERVIEW
In the role of Stewardship Analyst at Allspring Global Investments, you will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on ESG engagement and corporate governance. Working alongside portfolio managers and analysts, you will be instrumental in strategizing and executing ESG engagements, while also contributing significantly to our proxy voting initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead ESG engagements with selected investee companies on significant ESG matters, utilizing your exceptional communication skills to foster impactful discussions. Draft engagement preparation notes, meeting summaries, case studies, and contribute to our stewardship documentation, ensuring the highest standards of quality in our reports. Oversee the daily workflow for designated aspects of the proxy process during proxy season, applying your meticulous attention to detail and multitasking capabilities for seamless execution. Cultivate strong relationships with portfolio managers, investment analysts, client service representatives, legal advisors, compliance professionals, and third-party technology partners to successfully implement strategies and achieve positive outcomes. Offer insightful feedback and recommendations to enhance processes and mitigate risks, leveraging your analytical skills and keen attention to detail to drive operational excellence. Actively engage in institutional client operational due diligence requests and complete relevant questionnaires, effectively communicating complex issues to ensure client satisfaction.CANDIDATE PROFILE

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of several years of experience in stewardship, proxy, or investment roles. Proficiency in articulating complex concepts clearly and succinctly. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Strong multitasking skills to navigate various responsibilities concurrently. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in the asset management sector, particularly in proxy, corporate governance, or stewardship, is highly desirable. A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement and operational excellence, always seeking ways to enhance processes and achieve outstanding results. A thoughtful and decisive approach to negotiating critical issue resolutions. Strong time management, analytical, and organizational skills that contribute to success in this role. Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management for successful outcomes.
