Join Our Team as an Oncology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Nurse Specialist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a leading academic health system in Georgia, we offer a comprehensive approach to breast health and breast cancer treatment, combining the latest technology and research in a compassionate and caring environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have acquired broad experience in caring for patients with breast cancer and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population. They will deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to a patient population independently utilizing the nursing process.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Document the nursing process accurately and in the appropriate format.
  • Utilize patient/family input and goals in planning the plan of care.
  • Evaluate patient's response to planned care and adjust the plan of care as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
