Travel Nurse Across America is seeking an experienced Oncology RN to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As an Oncology Travel Nurse, you will provide top-level care for critically or chronically ill cancer patients. Your responsibilities will include coordinating treatment plans, providing patient education and treatment tracking, and being a reliable source of comfort and support for cancer patients and their families. You will work under the direction of a physician and may administer chemotherapy, implement new methods of symptom treatment, and monitor patients' progress. To be successful in this role, you should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. You should also be able to easily lift 20 pounds and be prepared to move or lift patients up to 50 pounds at times. You may face hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases. Requirements include BLS, NIH, CHEMO, and 2 years of experience. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.
