Job Summary

As a Registered Dietitian with Providence Health & Services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and nutrition services to our patients. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized nutrition care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition interventions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans that address nutritional needs and promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Conduct nutrition education and counseling sessions with patients and their families to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and dietetics to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in a clinical dietitian role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
