Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Formulate and execute production strategies that align with the overarching business goals. Provide transformative leadership to the production team to meet operational targets and foster business expansion.
- Operational Mastery: Supervise all production activities, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost management. Introduce best practices and continuous improvement strategies to boost productivity and minimize waste.
- Team Development: Inspire, guide, and cultivate a high-achieving production team. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation while ensuring effective communication across all production sectors.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancements and lean production techniques. Propel initiatives to improve production efficiency, decrease lead times, and elevate overall operational performance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure strict quality control protocols are established and consistently followed. Oversee production processes to ensure products meet or surpass quality benchmarks.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Partner with supply chain and logistics teams to guarantee timely and efficient production scheduling, inventory oversight, and delivery of finished products.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and oversee the production budget. Monitor spending, optimize resource distribution, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations. Advocate for a safe working environment and lead initiatives aimed at reducing workplace incidents.
- Technological Advancement: Stay informed about industry trends and technological innovations. Assess and adopt new technologies and automation solutions to enhance production capabilities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate closely with other senior executives to align production strategies with business objectives. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory entities.
Qualifications:
Experience: At least 15 years of experience in production management, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership capacity within the consumer goods sector.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
