Construction Project Director

BluSky Restoration is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Director to lead and inspire our projects to success. As the quarterback of each project, you'll steer it from inception to completion, making a real impact by restoring and renovating properties damaged by disasters and making a difference in communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee revenue production, ensure timely billing, and collaborate with project teams to drive business growth.
- Manage project budgets, improve profitability, and monitor costs to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Set AR expectations, perform collection calls, and maintain a DSO of ≤75 days to ensure smooth cash flow.
- Closing leads, maintaining client communication, and documenting in CRM to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize sketching and Xactimate technology for accurate project estimates to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Communicate with key partners, set expectations, and ensure project updates to maintain transparency and trust.
- Collaborate with Mitigation, Reconstruction, Business Development, and Project Accounting teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- 5+ years in marketing/business development and sales in the restoration or construction industry with a solid track record of sales growth.
- Extensive construction estimating and catastrophe experience to ensure expertise and confidence in project management.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and Xactimate (and other estimating software) proficiency preferred to streamline project execution.
- Ability to attend Business Development networking functions 2-3 evenings a week to foster relationships and drive business growth.
- Minimal out of state travel is required, with some out-of-area and overnight travel expected for training, meetings, or jobs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred to demonstrate a strong foundation in business and project management.
