Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead our Enterprise IT Support team. As a key member of our Technology Solutions group, you will be responsible for managing technology projects and programs, providing oversight and direction to ensure successful delivery.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing technology projects in an Agile delivery methodology. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining project plans, coordinating with technical teams, and communicating with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Provide management, direction, decision making, administration, quality assurance, and leadership for the Enterprise IT Support Services team.
  • Project Planning: Create and maintain information technology project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, status, and resource allocation.
  • Communication: Support the development of internal and external briefings, inclusive of program execution reviews, and executive meetings.
  • Reporting: Provide a summary of all project milestones and their anticipated completion dates; data on cumulative funding and expenditure rates and status.
  • Customer Engagement: Participate in customer meetings, effectively communicating program status and request clarification on issues when needed.
  • Documentation: Coordinate the compilation of program documentation, inclusive of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, management plans, and directives.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with highly technical teams to develop Enterprise IT solutions, report status, and assist with other support tasks.
  • Staff Management: Actively engage with functional support teams to ensure customer requirements are met, and effectively communicate and manage staff work allocations and assignment progress to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Management).
  • Experience: 10+ years project/program management experience, managing technology and programs and projects of similar scope and complexity directly supporting DoD organizations (Air Force preferred).
  • Skills: Strong analysis skills, with the ability to identify and improve documentation to support operations and technical teams.
  • Certifications: Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certification, or DAWIA Level III Program Management (PM).
  • Clearance: Active Security clearance.
