- Execute tasks specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide estimates for additional repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Experience at an official auto dealership is not mandatory.
- Certification from Kia, Hyundai, or Chevrolet is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience levels may vary depending on the position.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Manual dexterity, requiring steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- A positive, friendly demeanor with a customer service focus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with the capability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
