Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative serves as a vital link, delivering product and service insights while addressing customer account issues. This role is crucial in maintaining superior service standards, responding promptly to inquiries, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a significant volume of incoming calls.
  • Demonstrate fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Generate sales opportunities through interactions with callers and prospects.
  • Identify and evaluate customer needs to enhance satisfaction.
  • Establish and nurture sustainable relationships with customer accounts through open communication.
  • Provide precise, valid, and comprehensive information using appropriate methods and tools.
  • Achieve personal and team performance targets while managing call quotas.
  • Access customer information, stock status, and order history to make necessary adjustments.
  • Address customer complaints, offering suitable solutions and alternatives within designated timeframes; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, manage accounts, and organize documentation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and active listening skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in the optical industry is preferred but not mandatory.
