Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at HF Sinclair Corporation. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment at our refineries and terminals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment, including high-voltage systems and motor control centers.
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Install and test new electrical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues and improve system performance.
  • Develop and implement procedures for electrical maintenance and repair, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably in a refinery or terminal environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Valid Oklahoma Journeyman's License required.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in adverse weather conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in electrical technology or a related field.
  • Experience with electrical testing and measurement equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and other relevant safety standards and regulations.
