The Office of Public Affairs, Marketing & Enterprise Engagement Unit is in search of a Senior Communications Officer to act as a principal communicator. This role involves offering strategic recommendations and executing communication initiatives on behalf of enterprise leadership. The position also entails conducting extensive research, analysis, writing, editing, and various communication tasks that support the organization's business plan initiatives, campaigns, and events.

Special Requirements

Statement of Qualifications

Candidates must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for review by the hiring manager. Applications lacking an SOQ or failing to address the specific questions below will not be considered.

The SOQ should be typed, titled "Statement of Qualifications", with each response numbered and detailing all relevant experience, education, and training, including employment history, dates, and responsibilities. The SOQ must not exceed two pages and should use a font size no smaller than 11 point.

1. Outline your experience in researching, writing, and editing for targeted audiences across multiple communication platforms.

2. Describe your experience in managing large-scale projects and collaborating with team members at various levels.

Minimum Qualifications

All relevant experience and education pertaining to the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) listed in the Classification Specification must be included in your application package to clearly demonstrate how you meet the MQs for this position. If education is being used to meet MQs, please include transcripts with your application. For degrees obtained outside the United States, an evaluation of the degree for US equivalency is required.
