We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic leader to join our faculty as an Associate Professor or Full Professor in the School of Social Work. This is a tenured faculty position that will play a key role in shaping the future of our program.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Research: The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in the Master of Social Work (MSW) program, as well as contributing to the development of new courses and programs.
- Leadership and Administration: The candidate will provide leadership and administrative support to the School of Social Work, including serving as a member of the faculty leadership team and contributing to the development of strategic plans and initiatives.
- Community Engagement: The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders to advance the mission of the School of Social Work.
- Service and Outreach: The candidate will be expected to contribute to the service and outreach efforts of the School, including participating in professional organizations and engaging in community-based research and practice.
- Education: A Ph.D. in Social Work or a closely related field is required.
- Experience: The successful candidate will have a strong record of teaching, research, and service, as well as experience in academic leadership and administration.
- Skills: The candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Experience in Academic Leadership: The successful candidate will have experience in academic leadership and administration, including serving as a department chair or program director.
