Faculty Opportunity in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nursing

We are seeking a qualified candidate for a faculty position in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care nursing at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching and research, with a focus on preparing the next generation of nurses.

Responsibilities
  • Teach in our APRN program, with opportunities to teach at all levels
  • Contribute to service, practice, scholarship, leadership, and administrative duties related to student advising
  • Potential leadership role in the school's Partner Development and Engagement unit
Qualifications
  • DNP or similar terminal degree in nursing or related field
  • At least two years of experience in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care nursing
  • Unincumbered licensure as a nurse practitioner in Virginia
  • Certification or certification eligibility in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care nursing
