About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Practitioner to join our team at Corewell Health. As a key member of our outpatient clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services.
  • Facilitate efficient and effective patient flow, including preparing patients for visits and providing specific services and education as determined by providers.
  • Perform administrative duties to ensure all information is current and updated, including maintenance and monitoring of electronic health records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, work area, and equipment, and communicate any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program required.
  • 1 year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting preferred.
  • AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), or NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) certification required within 120 days.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required within 120 days.
Work Environment

This role is based at our Kentwood Medical Office Building, Breton Rd, Kentwood, and requires a full-time commitment with a 40-hour workweek. The shift is day-based, with variable hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Monday to Friday, with occasional variable days.
