Per Diem Nurse Opportunity in Cardiology

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and dedicated per diem nurse to join our Cardiology team in Newton, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a registered nurse with experience in cardiology to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current MA RN license required
  • 2 years of ICU experience required
  • IV Skills required
  • BSN required
  • BLS/ACLS required
  • Procedural experience preferred (Cath Lab, IR, OR)
  • Moderate sedation experience preferred
