Job Title: Behavior Technician (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Advanced Behavioral Therapy - OH. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with ASD, promoting social, emotional, and behavioral growth
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior, using data-driven approaches to inform treatment decisions
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to create and maintain a positive therapeutic environment, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of client information, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with ASD or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of clients and the organization
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
