We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc.
About the Role:As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a chronic setting. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with End Stage Renal Disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and perform direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, dialysis initiation and termination, and documentation.
- Provide dialysis therapy, including formulating dialysis plans, administering medications, and discontinuing dialysis according to established procedures.
- Analyze patient assessments, laboratory data, and communicate concerns to physicians.
- Assess patient and family learning readiness and provide education on renal disease, dialysis treatment, and medical regimen.
- Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans and monthly progress notes.
- Provide unsupervised patient care, coordinate day-to-day work of Patient Care Technicians, and serve as a resource for new RNs.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg may be beneficial.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certifications are a plus.
