This position entails engaging with both domestic and international tax matters for a thriving, global organization. The ideal candidate will manage a skilled team, travel to various international sites, and collaborate with personnel at different levels within the company.
This role will concentrate on facilitating federal, international, state, and local compliance and strategic planning. The Corporate Tax Lead will be accountable for ensuring that tax obligations are fulfilled accurately and promptly while optimizing after-tax returns. Key responsibilities encompass supervising tax compliance, nurturing the Tax team, aiding with income tax provisions, and investigating new tax regulations.
The successful applicant must be self-driven, results-oriented, and exhibit strong analytical capabilities. The ability to engage with diverse cultures and communicate effectively is crucial.
Key Performance Objectives:
- Understand company principles and tax methodologies
- Establish relationships with Finance and Business Unit stakeholders
- Provide guidance to the Tax team
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations and manage audits
- Support income tax provision and reconciliations
- Investigate and provide insights on new tax regulations
- Promote continuous enhancement of tax procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years of corporate income tax expertise
- Preferred management experience
- CPA certification is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations
- Willingness to travel occasionally
