Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing (DISH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, the Controller will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, as well as providing leadership and guidance to our accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with the CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting and finance experience in a nonprofit setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and developing a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, staff, and external partners.
- A competitive salary range of $100,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.
- A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, and retirement plans.
- A flexible hybrid work policy, with the option to work remotely two days a week and in the office three days a week.
