Delivering Innovation in Supportive Housing (DISH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, the Controller will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial records, as well as providing leadership and guidance to our accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage and maintain our financial systems, including our general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Develop and implement financial reporting and analysis tools to provide insights and recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with our program and development teams to ensure that our financial reporting and analysis meet the needs of our stakeholders.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting and finance experience, with a strong background in financial management and leadership.
- CPA certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide recommendations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
