Job Title: Night Auditor

As a Night Auditor at MCR Hotels, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our hotel's financial transactions. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and reconcile all financial transactions, including room sales, food and beverage, and other hotel revenue streams.
  • Conduct security walks to ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel staff.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports, including the Night Audit report, to management and other relevant departments.
  • Balance and reconcile all hotel accounts, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and front desk, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably in a night auditor or front desk role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
