Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Hose Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling products according to customer requirements using approved industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble product per customer requirements using approved industry standards.
  • Prioritize build schedules based upon production schedules or required dates.
  • Communicate production improvement ideas or issues to management.
  • Record job completions, errors, downtime, and hoses per day.
  • Problem solve by comparing order to BOM to print as needed and communicate concerns efficiently.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • Three to five years of related work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, effectively and professionally with customers, vendors and other Triad employees
  • Strong mathematical skills- add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to handle products (inventory) up to 50 pounds
  • Possess accurate keyboarding skills (for data entry)
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Office and Outlook knowledge
  • Knowledge of Prophet21 software and other vendor computer systems are preferred
  • Individuals must score 70% or higher on the Mechanical Aptitude test
