Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer and refrigerated van in a professional and safe manner, adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, communicating effectively and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collect customer payments and safeguard company funds, following GFS banking policies.
  • Perform daily pre/post trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with management and sales representatives to communicate customer concerns and provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with other GFS employees, sharing ideas and best practices.
Requirements
  • Ability to adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance, wearing the GFS uniform.
  • Punctuality, problem-solving, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and function in a team environment.
  • Goal-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in the English language.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, pushing, and pulling of product.
