Job Summary

Mac Papers is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to transport goods from branch facilities to customer locations using a commercial truck. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport goods from branch facilities to customer locations using a commercial truck.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Unload cased and uncased products from the trailer to customer facilities.
  • Follow safety procedures to transport cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.
  • Load and unload product for up to 20 stops a day, securing product for transport and obtaining receipts/payment and signatures for delivered product.
  • Adhere to all federal and state DOT regulations and report any equipment defects or damage, accidents, or traffic violations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Class A CDL in the state of residence.
  • Minimum of 1-year verifiable commercial driving experience in a Class 8 vehicle.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and state laws.
  • Clean MVR and ability to maintain a minimum 1-year DOT medical card.
