Electrical Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at PPC Partners Inc. in Greenville, SC.

Job Summary

The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing electrical construction projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and leading a team of craft workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively utilize all resources and lead/oversee craft workers assigned to specific areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc.
  • Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement correction actions as required.
  • Conduct accident investigations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc.
  • Motivate others to achieve objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, etc.).
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
  • Highly customer-service oriented & a team player; ability to create new and maintain current customers.
  • Valid driver's license and insured personal transportation is also required.
  • 7 years prior experience in electrical construction in DOD, healthcare, industrial or premiere commercial is needed.
  • Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and budget processes; 2-4 years' experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the NEC and NFPA 70E.
  • Ability to manage risk & profitability successfully.
