As an MRI Technologist, you are an expert in operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners.

MRI Technologists help prepare patients for the procedure, position them for imaging, and provide instructions, so you must have good communication skills with a calm bedside manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Position patients for imaging, using your knowledge of anatomy and MRI technology
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients, demonstrating excellent communication skills
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in MRI technology or a related field
  • Active license or accreditation in MRI technology
  • Additional certifications or requirements as requested by the facility
  • An enthusiastic and adventurous spirit, with a desire to help others
