Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at MedQuest Associates. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures
  • Screen patients for ferrous and RF-sensitive material before the procedure
  • Review patient charts and physician requests to determine optimal scanning parameters
  • Administer contrast agents as needed
  • Enter patient information to initiate scans
  • Assess and monitor patient physical and mental status during procedures
  • Review images to determine if additional scans are needed
  • Document patient data and diagnostic information
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
  • Must complete required CEUs to maintain certification
  • Active state licensure, where applicable
  • CPR certification
  • 0+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, required
  • 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred
