Job Overview

Johnson Controls International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and troubleshooting retail security products and equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service retail security products and equipment at customer sites
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on security systems and equipment
  • Keep track of service calls and maintain accurate records
  • Demonstrate and train customers on the use of security equipment
  • Communicate with customers and management to ensure satisfaction and identify potential sales opportunities

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Electronics and/or Networking, or equivalent experience
  • General knowledge of electronics and networking fundamentals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Networking certification
  • 3+ years of experience installing or servicing IP cameras and DVR/NVR systems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
