Position Overview

About Calyx Living

Calyx Living is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Driver to support our assisted living community. This role is essential in ensuring our residents enjoy safe and comfortable transportation to various appointments and outings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport residents to scheduled medical appointments and community events.
  • Assist residents in entering and exiting the vehicle with care.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle.
  • Perform light administrative tasks as needed.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for seniors during transportation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Valid NC Driver's License.
  • Experience in a senior living environment is highly preferred.
  • Friendly demeanor and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to engage positively with residents.
  • Genuine concern for the safety and comfort of our residents.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
