We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for installing, optimizing, and troubleshooting equipment at customer facilities across North America.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position working 5 days per week, with some weekend travel required. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in field engineering, project management, or equipment integration. You will work closely with our Equipment Manufacturing and Sales teams to deliver solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Install and optimize industrial bakery equipment at customer facilities.
  • Maintain and update equipment to ensure it operates at desired customer specifications.
  • Interact with clients to interpret their project requirements and design equipment solutions.
  • Communicate with our Engineering & Equipment Manager regarding forecasting and installation activity.
  • Ensure installed equipment complies with standards, codes, policies, practices, and specifications.
  • Offer off-site technical support to customers.
  • Collaborate with our Account Align Team Leader and other team members to ensure alignment on priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Full-time position working 5 days per week, with some weekend travel required.
  • Flexible schedule available.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and CAD diagrams.
  • Ability to use hand tools and perform electrical wiring in the field.
  • Physical requirements include lifting up to 60 pounds and standing on feet for 8+ hours.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, including data tracking, document preparation, and report writing.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (40% - 60% of the time).
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to write technical reports or documents.
  • Good interpersonal skills for interacting with business and customer base.
  • Ability to diagnose electrical and automation problems within equipment and implement solutions.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
