Job Description:

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist to join our team at NavitsPartners. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including portable and fixed units
  • Develop and implement protocols for echocardiogram procedures
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist
  • Current certification in Cardiac Sonography (RDCS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience with portable and fixed ultrasound equipment, including Syngo and other systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IV starts, PACS, and other medical imaging technologies
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as echocardiogram procedures and protocols
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
