As a Tax Intern, you will join a diverse team of talented individuals, gaining valuable exposure to various business functions in a dynamic environment. This role is designed to provide you with practical experience in public accounting, particularly in the preparation of federal and state tax returns for both individuals and businesses. Additional opportunities may include financial statement preparation, auditing, and involvement in special projects.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting or a related field, with a focus on CPA exam eligibility.
  • Tax Knowledge: Completion of a tax course prior to the internship is required.
  • Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 3.0 in both major and overall coursework is expected (exceptions may apply with a professor's recommendation).
  • Availability: Candidates should be prepared to work a minimum of 40 hours per week for full-time or 24 hours per week for part-time roles.
  • Location: Willingness to relocate for the internship is necessary.
  • Employment Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
