As part of our close-knit team, collaboration is key. This role involves preparing icing, designing custom fondant decorations, maintaining cleanliness at workstations, and ensuring the kitchen is properly closed at the end of the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, including welcoming guests and addressing inquiries
  • Master advanced buttercream decorating techniques
  • Skillfully stack and ice cakes
  • Demonstrate proficiency with buttercream, fondant, fudge, ganache, and whipped cream
  • Handle icing, decorating, packaging, labeling, and stocking of products
  • Fulfill special customer orders accurately using provided order forms
  • Maintain a keen attention to detail to ensure uniformity in decorations
  • Adhere to specific customer requests as detailed
  • Exhibit artistic creativity in designing elaborate cake decorations
  • Maintain stamina for extended periods of standing
  • Possess strong color vision for mixing icings and creating designs
  • Organize and rotate products in display cases
  • Manage inventory in freezers and refrigerators
  • Exhibit strong time management skills
  • Collaborate effectively with team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cake decorating and fondant design
  • Portfolio showcasing your work is required

Job Type: Part-time (afternoon and closing shifts available)

Shifts: Specific days and times will be discussed during the interview process.

We offer flexible shifts throughout the week, with compensation set at $16.50 per hour.
